Letters Home

Photographs were taken between 2003 and 2010. In Berlin, Estonia, the United States, England but also in Russia, Iceland and France. Photographing my friends was a way to feel close to them, to be present for those moments of poetry and life that seem to float and echo the great events of their lives. And then there are these interstices of the world, these non-decisive moments, which I particularly like. A landscape, an interior, an object placed there by someone whose name has been forgotten.
